NITROERG S.A. conducts a range of activities that constitute its environmental management strategy.

The Krupski Młyn site has implemented a certified and continuously improved environmental management system that complies with the ISO 14001:2015 standard. In accordance with ISO 14001:2015 requirements, the company regularly conducts internal audits and environmental inspections. It also assesses risks and opportunities, including environmental aspects, by comparing their values against the requirements specified in administrative decisions. Furthermore, the product life cycle and the organization’s internal and external context have been defined. The scope, methods, and frequency of monitoring technological processes—including the measurement and recording of emission levels—adhere to the conditions set out in valid environmental permits.

NITROERG S.A. holds all legally required permits for environmental resource use. All permits are current and subject to regular reviews to ensure their completeness and validity, including:

• Integrated permits;
• Water-law permits for groundwater abstraction;
• Permits for the emission of gases and dust into the air;
• Water-law permits for the discharge of domestic sewage;
• Water-law permits for the discharge of industrial wastewater containing substances particularly harmful to the aquatic environment.
