European UnionOn 22 December 2021, a new Central Detonator Production Hall (CPZ) was put into operation. The investment made it possible to relocate the production of detonating cord coils and detonators to a modern facility, which resulted in reduced production costs and ensured improved technological discipline. The new space also created the opportunity to launch a line for the automatic assembly of detonators. As part of the project, a central warehouse for raw materials used in detonator production was also built. It replaced several smaller storage buildings, providing modern storage conditions with pallet racking systems and improving the plant’s internal logistics. The project also included the construction of a new locker room and canteen for employees, replacing the previously used facilities. The new social infrastructure provides greater comfort for employees, as well as a higher level of safety and improved organization of personnel movement within the plant.
