European UnionOn 24 September 2019, NITROERG S.A. launched a new production line for 2-ethylhexyl nitrate (2-EHN) – a diesel fuel additive marketed under the name NITROCET 50®. It is the only installation of this type in Poland and one of only a few in the world. The investment, worth more than PLN 77 million, significantly increased the company’s production capacity to approximately 24,000 tonnes per year while also enabling more environmentally friendly production. The 2-EHN additive has been manufactured at the Krupski Młyn plant since 1998.
