Training of emergency services

Today, at the production plant of Nitroerg S.A. in Krupski Młyn, exercises of the internal emergency plan were held. Less than 150 firefighters from state and volunteer units from the Tarnowskie Góry district, Gliwice (chemical unit) and Lubliniec took part in them. There were also representatives of the police and the Provincial Inspectorate for Environmental Protection in Katowice.

On the part of Nitroerg, key people in making decisions in crisis situations were present – President of the Management Board – Mr.Grzegorz Sosna, plenipotentiaries for major failures, safety, health and safety, environmental protection and directors of production plants.

The exercises are cyclical. In each of our locations – in Bieruń and in Krupski Młyn – they are held once every three years. This is a great opportunity to verify internal procedures, remind safety rules, and to tighten cooperation with emergency services
