As the organizers emphasize, the main message of the \u00abOpen-pit Mining School\u00bb is the transfer of the latest knowledge on practical issues of open-pit mining and exchange of experiences in order to develop the so-called \u00abGood practices in mining\u00bb. Among the topics discussed during this year’s meeting, the main emphasis was placed on issues related to: safe extraction of minerals and minimization of natural hazards, the country’s resource policy and access to deposits, the latest legal regulations in open-pit mining activities or modern technical solutions in rock mines and brown coal mines as well as reclamation and revitalization of post-mining areas.<\/p>\n
NITROERG, as every year, took the patronage of this event, actively marking its presence through the organization of the booth, as well as the participation of delegates in discussion panels.
