«Development of technology for the production of emulsifiers dedicated to the chemical industry with particular emphasis on emulsion explosives» – this is the title of the project of NITROERG S.A. company, which is currently being implemented jointly with the Oil and Gas Institute – National Research Institute in Krakow with the support of EU funds. For this purpose, we have received over PLN 3 million from the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020.
The aim of this project is to develop an innovative amphoteric emulsifier based on polyisobutylene-succinic anhydride. The main benefit obtained by end users will be the stability and durability of the matrix of emulsion explosives, as well as temperature resistance and the universality of the use of the emulsifier. For NITROERG S.A. the benefit will be to increase competitiveness on domestic and international markets, and to strengthen the position and extend the sales range to new markets. The project will be implemented from 2019 to 2021. Its value is PLN 6.3 million, and the amount of a subsidy is PLN 3 million (48.6% of the project’s value).
