The European Federation of Explosives Engineers (EFEE) is a membership organization that aims to educate, standardize and improve labor standards in the use of explosives throughout Europe. The organization has representations in 56 countries and committees that have a direct impact on EU directives. One of the priorities of the EFEE is to create a European forum related to the broadly understood use of explosives. Conferences seem to be an ideal platform for the exchange of experiences, attracting the attention of producers and users of explosives, as well as operators of drilling equipment, researchers and professionals related to construction and mining.
So it was this time. The 11th World EFEE Conference was held in Maastricht from 15 to 17 May 2022. It is a cyclical event that takes place every two years, each time in a different country. This year’s edition gathered over 400 delegates from 45 countries. Nitroerg representatives took part not only in technical sessions and lectures, but also had the opportunity to actively present the product offer at a specially built company stand. Nitroerg was among 31 exhibitors, including most of the most important manufacturers of explosives. It was a great opportunity to present new products. This year, the nitrON – diesel fuel additive, as well as the ERGONIC electronic detonators, were promoted in a special way.
